No one should be trying this but check it out anyways. Remember Alex Peterson has been a paraglider for 12 years and has logged more big air flights under a kite than anyone in the world.

I have a feeling this aspect of kiting will evolve and bring kiting and paragliding together. I suppose it already has.

don't try that at home kids.

pretty easy for things to go sideways. literally.

think small at first.

yea, you dont want to end up doing like ol' sol flyer Wink

you can see in the beginning AP's pretty powered up, one mistake....even a small one could be fatal. imagine breaking a line or a pulley go out?

I guess when youre used to looking down 3 or 4 thousand feet, 40 or 50 doesnt seem much!??! I watched it 3 times straight thru. effing incredible control, loved the touch and go. where was thar anyway?

Now all my fun ridge soaring sites are gonna be stuffed with kiters!

I did try using a paraglider to groundboard with a few weeks ago though, so I guess cross overs are already happening both ways.
