Go Arla!!!
Don't want to leave out some other key wins...
Brad Gordon from Seatle... Wins Kitercross Ski Race!!! (with best overall time, I will add)
LF International Team Rider Jason Slezak took 2nd in Mens Snowboard.
Have to say, that as the local NW Liquid Force Rep, I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of our NW Liquid Riders Arla and Brad!!! So glad to work with such great people who can rock up and represent at an event!! Not to mention, either of them would offer their kites to you to demo on any day!
Can't resist...and feel it bears mention...
...that Arla's 3rd, Jason's 2nd and Brad's 1st were all on the new 2008 Liquid Force Havoc Kites!!
While this is the first year LF has made an attempt into snowkiting, we are stoked that our products have been so well received, work so well on water or snow, freestyle or racing and are doing so well for riders everywhere!!
That is 2 in a row now for Brad Gordon and his Havoc... taking the win at the recent Montana Snowkite Rodeo as well!
Way to go Brad and the rest of the LF Team!!!
Check out video of the 08 LF kites in the snow at www.LFsnow.com

| 1st Ski: Brad Gordon, 2nd Snowboard: Jason Slezak, 3rd Womans: Arla Funk... riding the 08 Havoc to the podium...priceless |

AND,
successfully defending her title was local Gorge kiter, Monica Bassett, who placed 1st at the Skyline Masters.
She also had one of the top speeds overall from the GPS event. The kite cross course had everyone going 50plus mph for 2/3 of the race. smoking.
She was on a red kite. But I think that it didn't matter too much. Everyone was ripping no matter what color they used!!
yeah she also did well at the Soldier Mt. and Montana Rodeo events.

What a great time had by all!!! Brad was throwing some mad fast tricks and Slezak was tearing up the box rail. Go LF!!!ANd when we got back to Park City, there was HUGE wind at Strawberry!!
Ken was tearing up the box rail as well on his TELE skis!!!! And of course Monica and Arla were used to the gusts, so well done girls!!!! Who held down the BIG girl kite tho??? NON other than Arla. A Slezak/Funk executive decision!! hahahahaa
