I'm tired of being cold and wet. I just want to be out on the sand bar with strangers and people I know. Despite the kites crashing around me and all the promises I've made to myself that "next time I'm headed to lyle," I really love the sand bar. Because I love being around the newbs and the pros and around kiters in general.
Here's to the summer, may the spring come quickly and the summer stay late, I wish I had someone to drink with.

Can I get an "AMEN" in the house! I haven't been riding in god knows how long.  If the water wasn't so freakin' cold, I would be half tempted to go out this weekend since its suppose to be 60 degrees.
To make things worse, I just got my new board yesterday and all I can do is stare at it and dream of warm weather riding in the Hood.
Also, I have to agree with your thoughts on the Sandbar. Yes, it crowded, theres tons of newbies/pros, but damn is it a great place to hang out!
