Any snow left on Dalles Mtn? Should be wind though maybe raining not snowing - anyone good at forecasting it?

| I'm thinking yes and it may be the last day for a while. The wind forecast backed off to 5-15 for today but it's been blowing all night. Going to try and leave PDX by late morning. |

Someone should follow Slither out. If the wind is light and he ends up waiting in his car, he'll drink the whole case if there's no one to share it with. A cow or coyote could be seriously injured if Slither goes drunken snOkiting across eastern Washington. Once he starts jumping fences there's NOTHING to stop him!  |

Good seeing you up there Slither, PKH, thanks for the on the phone directions....We really were not sure we were in the right place until Slither showed up.
Well, that was my first time that the planets alligned for me and I actually got to kite on the snow. I can see how it could be fun. I was too under powered and my board is in need of some tuning. Going downhill was fun! Going uphill under powered was a challenge and tiring.
I will be giving it another try in a few weeks in Idaho. I am sure I will make a better go at it there since it will be my second time out.
