time to explore some other options:

This is a 5-4 x 18.7 swallow tail with
a concave deck and a bonzer 5 fin
layout.

I wouldn't have posted it but I thought
the leopard spot pad looked kinda groovy.

Looks cool. Tell us more.

Edit.. took out my stupid question about the fins... From the pic it looked like they were different sizes on each side and I had trouble counting....

Does the concave deck make it harder for your feet to slide off the edge? or some other purpose?

Is it real yet or still in design phase?

When can I try it? Smile

Tony

What is a conic fillet ?
Is it an elliptical fillet ?
Is it curvature continous?

I don't think Hein models anything that is not curvature continous

Oh, and I also second kt on anymore development on the twin tip flip tips ?

Nice little ripper you got there bh! I like the swallow and how it allows a
little straighter outline towards the tail. I added a little curve back
in on this 5-4. Here's rev. B:

The deck is actually a concave (conic x-section) surface with no
flat anywhere. NSI is releasing the deck pad set so that will be
sweet. -Hein

And here's the 50th percentile man taking it for a ride. Probably a little
small for paddling though.

Guess it depends on what percentile you fall in.

It's 17.2 liters 12.78 nose 18.7 mid 14.38 tail and only 1.18 thick in the
middle. I think stretched and widened to about 5-8x20 could be nice. Or
maybe 5-6x19.3 -Hein
