this report was from yesterday. waterville is about 30 minutes north of wenatchee, wa. along hwy us 2. easy access snowkite, doesn't get much easier than this for rigging next to your car. just as close to the launch area as in stevenson. a much better launch though.
A little bit of a drive, but plenty of hotels in the wenatchee area. plus in the background of image 2 you can make out the lines from the badger mountain ski area. not very big, but for a $10 tee bar pull up the face of the hill, you are still garanteed a fun time if it doesn't blow. http://www.nwwintersportsman.com/BadgerMt/index.htm
FYI Mission ridge is located in wenatchee area for some big time mountain fun. http://www.missionridge.com/home/

powerlines there were parrellel with the road so no problem kiting downwind of them. no other obstacles to deal with. sheriff stopped by and said hello. everyone was real friendly to us.

earlier in the day it was more up and down. I was in contact with the group which had arrived earlier and they were out kiting and then it dropped to nothing, but I did not experience that all afternoon I was there.
when I arrived at around 1:00, it was pretty consistent for 12m conditions.
I actually used my SS B6 foil. Seemed pretty steady until darkness, however it did seem to pick up a little bit towards the end of the day.
Forecast said 20-25 mph, I think it was a little less check out the graph for wind readings.
