Idaho is right around the corner......almost around the corner. If you snowmobile, ski, snowboard, kitesurf or snowkite then come up for the weekend and enjoy. Demo's, lodging, parties and lots of ride time. Local ski areas: Soldier Mountain & Sun Valley Resort.

Hey Snowkitesoldier,

Sounds fun but we are in Maui that weekend. I was thinking of maybe coming over that way to "visit" family and sneak out there for a day or two. How far are you from Boise? How's Jan for snowkiting there?

January can be a great month for snowkiting. There is great riding in both East and West wind directions. March and end of Feb have the most consistent winds but I'v gone 10 for 10 in January. You never know. Boise is about 90 miles away. Hit me up if your in the area.

I'm in for the event!!!!

First let me say, It's about time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I first rode SunValley - FairField in 2002 and can say the snowkiting opportunities btw Boise & SunVally are and have been IMHO greatly under rated

I personally spent way too much time my first two winter seasons searching for the elusive flats near Seattle.

The epiphany occured when I finally looked up and engaged my imagination asking, why not.

I'm crossing my fingers for some Crystal Mt. sessions this holiday break.

happy holiday

John

ps. It's GO TIME at Waterville WA

This totally sounds bitchin. I wish I could make the trek down there and check it out. Killer idea. Idea Cool You should also post this on Uskiteforum, and Montana Kite Sports too.

My fellow Idaho kiter, thanks for the advice. I'll def. follow up. I know Idaho is a big state but I hope you can make it down for a session this year. Just went up yesterday and had a blast.
