| That game was a joke. The only reason beavers won was because the ducks were on 4th string players. And even then the beavers had to strugle to win. That was one of the worst games ever. It was a pitty win for the beavers. |

Hey Spike, We didn't have our starting QB, RB, or our all-american WR. We did have a coach with a clue. Ducks fold like a house of cards the minute they taste a little adversity.
And you are right, it was a joke, we should have blown you guys out.
My favorite part is that the first thing out of Bellotti's mouth was, "the refs should have reviewd the last play." That man will not EVER give another team credit. Zero class. He whined about the cal game too...
I was really disappointed the Ducks didn't wear the high-tech helmets that they wore against UCLA, you know the ones that showed their score on the side of their helmets.....

| I alway love it when people get offended even when their team won. Just be lucky the beavers did win cus if we have our main players, the beavers would have had no chance. Ducks would have had a blow out. And i think you missed the main point. I didnt see any folding. What i saw was lower string players puting pressure on the beavers. I think i recall the game going into double overtime. Now tell me again that the ducks folded. I dont think so. Sorry bud. |

Spike, Maybe I didn't make myself clear. The Beavers were without their three best offensive players, Ducks were missing the QB. If anything, we were the ones playing undermanned. Justify the loss any way you want, all I know is TWO IN A ROW and the homefield streak has been broken by the BEAVS!
OH YEAH!
I will give credit to Stewart, he played tough with that injury....he's gonna be a star on Sundays.

Jimmi, very good points LOL I will be the first to admit that I am way too into sports... If you could see the email lists I'm on, you would be scared. Some of the guys I went to college with 20 years ago, appear to have stayed there.
My brother is a Duck, love the rivalry, whole family enjoys choosing sides and making fun of each other.
If the ducks had a coach like willingham, riley... people who carry themselves well, it would be much harder to dislike them...
and...it is pouring down snow/rain right now, not much to do outside |

For the record that last play should've been reveiwed. Stewart made forward progress on that play and looked ot have made the first down. Of course Pac-10 oficiating is horrible to begin with so yea. And for biting on the ducks and saying the beavs were missing kye guys too, moevao is a better QB than canfield anuways. try complaining about injury when you're down to your 4rth and 5th string quarterbacks and recruiting redshirt freshman free-safteys to play wide receiver. we weren't missing 3 key players we have 6 freaking acl injury's, and missing virtually all of our offensive playmakers (Dixon, Johnson, Colvin, Passinger, Leaf, Costa, Pflugrad..) Roeper played excellent too. he was about to do the right thing at the end he just listened to evensen unfortunately. Not belotti's fault but he has to take the blame for it because he's the head coach. Belotti's a great coach with a great record at Oregon. It was a great game but a bummer to see Oregons season go down the tubes.
But to say that the beavers were the team undermanned. Give me a break . |

You guys beat us and I heard it was a great game. At least our 5th string QB did better than in his previous outing.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. |
