Carpool to Montana for snow kiting?

I am heading to Georgetown Montana (near Butte, MT) for a big snow kiting event next weekend. Its the Georgetown Lake Open. Should be very sweet - a lot of Reps will be there - guys partying all night long - and hopefully lots of wind. Its about a 9 or 10 hour drive from Portland. If you are interested in carpooling let me know. Or if you want some info on the event just shoot me a PM.

the Georgetown lake lodge is directly across the street/road from the lake where the event goes down. Then mt. haggin is a short drive up and around to the pass. Fairmount hotsprings resort is where I stayed and it has hot springs natrurally that has been resorted. 100 buck a nit e for intro net and hot springs . closer to mt haggin and fartherr from the masses though for the party/event.

I plan on leaving friday around 11:30 AM. I am staying by the lake. Right now there is one other guy I splitting the room with. I believe there are more rooms available at the hotel - there is also talks about a kite store owner opening up the basement of his shop and letting people crash there. I could ask around and see if anyone can let you crash on their floor??? Don't know how you feel about that. Its about a 10 hour drive. I plan on getting there around 9:30 - dropping off my stuff at the motel - driving over to the bar everyone is meeting at which is 10 miles down the road.

Then I plan on leaving around 4:00 on sunday. Get back around two in the morning Rolling Eyes

it'll be a long drive - but hopefully worth it. Let me know if you are interested - and I'll ask around for lodging.
