Okay so I know iKitesurf's not the most reliable, but here's the forecast for the rest of today... West Gorge, not lookin' so hot, but who knows? Coast, gotta go pretty far south to play in the north wind.
By the way, Dano, I like the NEW avatar!
EDITED: because I'm a retard and can't spell...

I like it too - I took the picture as the kite almost hit me head on.
Floras Lake is great - we try to make it down twice a year and either camp next to the lake or stay at Will's B&B. Check out Whiskey Run and Pistol River when you're there, too, for some great wave action.

What times of the year do you normally head down to Floras? JP and I want to check it out, but even from Corvallis, it's still a pretty decent drive...

okay then...off to Rooster! You never know when your last day of kiting could be.... I'm sure a 9 is too large, but I'll grab some photos if anyone is on the water and post them here if something comes out decent.

7m was almost too much for me, it was too much for my Dakine Pyro harness which ripped out the webbing on the side. Caused me to crash and lose my board. Couldn't really do anything but self rescue at that point, so no going back for the board. Bye bye red Hein 124.
Still plenty of wind out there, the bigger guys were able to hold onto 9's...

It ripped the stiching where the webbing is attached to the side of the harness, its actually the second time this has happened and I have seen it happen to one of my friends as well. Dakine replaced his, they only repaired mine.
Shouldn't be any trouble to get them to repair/replace it.
Sad to see the board go, had some good times on that one!
