Not raining when I arrived, but the tide was up (got them backwards!). Made it a little tough to launch! Wind was pretty up and down - when we got there it was just lulled out to ~13 for a while, so we put up our big kites. Had a 30-45 min session b4 it really started hitting the fan. The locals came out of nowhere and landed us! Props to them! At that point it basically turned into a gusting gale force whitecapping bitoch and it was time to go home!
