| so the coast was super sick.. second time tryingt o ride waves.. thanks blowhard for getting me fired up to go out.. sundays downwinder was super fun.. its such a different style of riding.. but anyways the waves were sorta scary, i defently hit a few brick walls thinking i am strunger than the wall of water headed towards my face.. haha anyways if you havent kitted at the coast you are missing out!! |

| forecast shows that Sunday should be pretty exciting around Newport at least. I'm hoping to get a ride in then, it's been too long. |

john(blowhard): congrats, bro, you've reached 'great one' status. and i though you were such an asshole when we first met online  how wrong i was. you rip. i'm cracking up at how much you dig that new kite; like a kid w/ a new toy. rad.
that was a good session despite losing my board for so long and being nipped at by sharks.
tom, good to meet you(this is daniel) and come back and ride again sometime. btw, who was the guy that was ignoring you and wouldn't catch your kite...?

It was a total blast and then I got spanked in the rinse cycle on the very last sesh ... just happy my kite was still in the air.

Yeah the kiting in the waves pretty much rocked my world. I thought I was addicted before... It's at a whole new level.

yeah, tom, i get spun and spanked out there. my last thought is always keeping that kite up when i'm gonna go down - i hate to see a wave headed for the kite.
i really enjoyed the smaller waves out there vs the last time i'd been out. it gives me time to play instead of being so on edge. plus it smoothed out really well when the fog first came in and everyone was taking a break except me. |
