I hear that Sauvies is rideable on a south day. Wasnt it Slither and Barfly that showed us that? |

Well you can take a stab at the Southern winds and it you might get to ride. But if the wind isn't strong enough, I'm sure you'll have plenty of brown things to hop a ride on down stream. Can you say major CSO. |

The day we hit it, I think it was S-SW. This seemed to cause a shadow on the inside that got worse at you went North down the beach. By the time you were past the boat (North wind launching area), it was practically off shore.
This current pattern seems to have more SE which could be perfect. |

I've been at Rooster riding westerlies when it was strong SW in town... the wind seems to hook into the Gorge and start blowing west. Only downside is the rain.
I'd rather try rooster again or maybe coast than the CSO action... that is unless Slither promises to wear that mask and outfit again at Sauvies. |
