JK, Crazy C and I are heading down to La Ventana and are looking for reasonable housing, ideas/suggestions, locations, secret spots, and or two additional people to share housing cost's in La Ventana from Jan 26th to Feb 3rd.

Don't really want to camp (to much extra gear to pack) and have found that renting a house for 3 people would be rather expensive, approximately $300/day ($100/day/person).

If you have any ideas or want to go with, let me know.

Thanks.

Hey there,

So, this is the first time Kodiak and I are going there, and we were told about Mokies.com. There is a one bedroom available with two futons or a studio with two futons. They are very very reasonable, much cheaper then the rest of the places there, believe me I contacted almost every place. They have their own bathroom, full kitchen, beach front, etc. etc. etc. It is about 1.5 miles outside of the main drag, closer to the hot springs. Haven't stayed there, but take a look at the site. Stephanie is the owner and she is actually here in the Gorge and is able to be contacted via the site.

Talk to you later.

Dude, www.bajajoe.com has rooms with two beds(one bunk bed) for like 20 dollars a night, this includes, wi fi, common areas (ping pong, darts, couches), refrigerator space and cooking utensils and areas. For like 20 per night per person. They have a great storage shed, where you leave your kites with the struts pumped up and all your gear. And they are right on the beach where most of the kiters ride. I have been there twice and really like it, very nice people, good atmosphere.

Hey man, i forgot to mention, that the bunk rooms have common toilets and showers, it's really not a big deal. But they have private rooms with bathrooms for a bit more, send them an email they are super friendly and answer quickly.
I live in Mexico City, but will be going probably mid december for a couple days,
Cheers
Andy
