So, following the steps provided.. 1. Jo-ann fabrics for needle ($2.29), thread ($5.29 300m), and Safeway for misc supplies ($NA). 2. After wife offers to show me a stitch that would be hidden after repair complete, recruit wife to actually DO repair! 3. Inflate kite and admire while partaking of many misc supplies. Total cost: way f****n' less of my $ and time! Plus I have materials for the next time something needs fixin.
