Did anyone else find it weird that they tested fairly big kites and not all the sizes matched? Seems a bit unfair to compare an 11m to a 14m. In the same way that the money C kite used to be a 12m I think now the main kite for many riders is a 9-10m flat kite (similar in power to a 12 C). These reviews are of 11-14m flat kites, which for many people is their biggest kite.

Nice to see some reviews although you kind of have to read between the lines as magazines like to throw some hype in. At least they recommend demoing like most smart people these days.

Probably more people in the 11m-14m kite range worldwide than smaller.

I agree though, you should test more than one size and always compare size to size across lines. And really you should describe the conditions they were tested in, wind speed, water terrain type, etc..

Still its one of the only actual gear reviews sponsored by a U.S. mag I've read that didn't sound like they just reprinted the company's marketing material.

We have asked the suppliers for multiple kite sizes for the two weeks of on water testing that we will be doing this month in Cape Hatteras.
