the 2006 kite will be cheaper to buy. Laughing The 2007 is got the hard to pull but convieniently located sheeting. the focus was on trying to get the other bow styles working . the fuels did not change much from 2005-2007.
sorry but its the truth. I fly and love my fuels... by the way... buy some no regrets..

Tucker and I compared his '06 13m to my '07 13 (his on 5 lines, mine on 4)... Low end, mine had a little more grunt for sure, but they depower very similar. On the smaller sizes (9 down), there's definately going to be a difference.

? you should fly an 05 back to back with a 07 the differience is pretty crazy. From my experience the 05s and 04s were pretty much the same. The 06 was totaly differient with sooooo much more depower and speed but alot less low end. The seven and five werent as differient. The 07s got back the low end and brought the small sizes up to date.

so the 06s depower addition was in the canopy design??? Wink
different yes better well they always seem to max out more power, more hangtime , quiker turning , completely more depower, better relaunch for sure and of course just an overall better design. not to mention colors and the new better price... Embarassed

I am just kidding... go buy some fuels the newer the safer for sure new stuff is great and a piece of mind with the latest greatest can be a very powerful tool.

I am in the no riding for a week plus camp , tried yesterday at the coast but it gradually died and was too little juice to play in the tide. four walks up the beach bums me out. Crying or Very sad

probably my old bagged out crispy fuels Wink

I haven't tried the 07 fuels, but I can tell you there is a substantial difference between the 05-06 models. They feel pretty close from 7-11m but the 13m and 15m felt completely different between years. If I had known how they differ, I would have never sold my 05 13m & 15m. The 05 models were faster, and simply had more power. I know it varies from kite to kite but I have had several experiences where I was on an 05 13m plenty lit and jumping, and my bro (who is a much better kiter and weighs 25lbs less than me) was unable to stay upwind on his 06 15m. Same thing happened with the '06 13m. I do love my '06 7m and 9m and feel they are snappier and more responsive than the previous year. Just my two cents Smile

P.S. the bags for the '06/'07 are worth getting them over the '05. Those black square duffel bags were stupid!!! Evil or Very Mad

Don't have 07s, but have had 03 - 06.

I have a different opinion on the 05 vs 06. I thought the 06 15m flew faster but had a little less low end. It behaved remarkably different, ie faster, with the 5th line. But at some cost, the "unhook range" as I will call it, was much more narrow. Meaning, in lighter wind I had to get the depower dialed before unhooking or the kite would back up. The 03-05 never did this to me. But once adjusted properly, and/or powered up, it was not an issue.

I will say the 5th line allowed me to get out earlier, albeit on a skimboard, than the 05...for this reason alone...5th line relaunch. Once I figured out I just needed to get the kite to sit on the water LE up, then tug on the 5th line, that was a swim saver for me.

I have two friends with 07s who say they have more low end than the 06, but they aren't fond of the bar.

LEN10 Pro Bar....c'mon!!!!! Shy where is that thing?! Smile

I l o v e those black duffel bags from 05. If you pack your kite right, which you should you get more return from it and it packs tight. Also those bags are sick for carry on for air travel or stuffing them with snowboard wet crap.

If you make it they will buy it? Well will you...

Lent10 bar will be first come first serve. No pics just yet; not becuase i don't want to it just that we don't have the production sample yet.
