I was on Crossbows last year, switched after finding the bar tension on the Bularoos to be far far far less. It is no about the money, it is about the ride.

yeah, but does the bularoo have light bar pressure when unhooked? Thats the real question. My kites have very light bar pressure unhooked, barely even feel it. Slingshot rocks

I'm confused about bar pressure. I thought it was about how much tension a kite needed in the back lines to produce a given amount of pull. It seems that differences could only apply when hooked in (with a trim line, not a hard loop) and that when unhooked, all kites would feel the same at a given amount of pull.

Confused

I think it happens when friends encourage you to visit drinking establishments when you're already drunk. Lifting beverages can overstress the arm joints and even cause tendonitis.

i am also confused by this post of spike. maybe a lack of understanding. bar pressure applies when hooked in... or at least thats what i thought. when i unhook i just want the kite to be trimmed for maximum pull so i may accomplish my tricks. it is like flying a trainer fully powered all the time just a hell of alot bigger. but to each their own....

I think it has to do with how much pull is passed through the front lines vs. the back. Unhooked steering should be similar to when you pull the bar in all the way. If your kite has more tension on the front lines then more of the pull with be transferred to the center of the bar and less to the tips making it easier to steer even when unhooked. How much the bar pulls your arms should remain the same for a given amount of pull that the kite is providing, but the ease with which you pivot the bar around its center can change.

has anybody noticed the large number of useless posts by me lately? No?
maybe this will help refresh your memory:

has anybody ever tried the spike kite? Its the greatest kite ever, boosts continuously, never stops boosting, boosts all the time. pops great, no need to inflate, self inflates, packs itself up too. has built in wind sensors to find the perfect wind for you. give you telepathic feedback on optimal kite position so you can land anything. I'm telling ya, the spike kite kicks ass.

Am I the only one that thinks its ironic that the big rock at rooster rock looks like a giant penis, and that rooster rock is therfore likely the more politcally correct renaming of c*ck rock? Let alone the fact that it is a nude beach, HA

In short, I was just kidding guys, this forum is just like u-tube, it's impossible to say things so dumb that people actually think you're joking.
(reminds me of a post of some guy wanting to start a kite rental buisiness a while ago, hmm...)
