New to the sport and trying to find out about what style vests people are wearing. Right now I have a seat harness and several people have said to be careful about what length impact vest to get because the two can be uncomfortable to wear at the same time. Anyone with a seat harness have any advice on what style vest I should be getting? (And where to find one?) |

Oneil makes a couple wakeboarding impact vest that work pretty good.
Take your seat harness with you and try them on together just to make sure. You can pick them up at any wakeboard shop, there a two shops on Macadam by Gorge Performance. I think one is called FMC the other is just a mastercraft shop. You can also try going to Active Water Sports. _________________ Join the CGKA! Membership is only $10! If you already have a seat harness, maybe you should just get a life jacket from GI Joe's. They are much cheaper than impact vests and will fit above a seat harness better. _________________ It's always happy hour somewhere in the world. |

i have the dakine impact vest and love it. i ride with the waist harness over and i have no problems other than hucking bigger than i should because of the false sense of security. but a PFD from walmart is cheaper and would work for the seat harness. |
