Two of the coolest people I met were two kids that worked at the beach in Prea. Jair made us breakfast in the morning and was so stoked we couldn't help but be in a good mood. In the afternoon he gives lessons at the kite school. Pinto is a scrawny 15 year old kid who used to be the kite bitch at Prea. He kited for two years on a home-made board and a 2001 4m wipika. We is throwing powered kiteloops to blind on that shit Shocked

They get to ride the school's bow kites a bit but have saved enough to buy their own kites. These kids don't make much money and it took them a long time to save up. They both saw Ruben last year and have wanted to try a more aggressive kite but have never gotten the chance. I let the boys fly my fuels the last night and at first it was a site to behold. They had no idea the power those things have (with 22m lines Laughing

) and both got worked for a good hour. At the end they were throwing down sick tricks. Pinto actually broke a line throwing a kiteloop flat 3.

Anyhow, to get to the point. Kites in Brazil are super expensive. These kids are great ambassadors to the sport. They are always happy to help anyone out and offer a friendly smile even to non-guests. They should have the chance to ride safe, high performance gear. The have saved $450 U.S. dollars and are looking to buy a 5m and 7m fuel. They can be '04-'07. They just need to be in decent shape. They only need one bar and it can be used as well. I know this should be in the classifieds (sorry Phil) but I'd figured this was worth posting. I'd pay you for the kites up front and and have you ship them to me. I'll send them off to the boys. I know this sounds like a late night t.v. add but if you have some old fuels laying around and could part with them for cheap, it would make a huge difference for these very cool kids.

I got 2 2007 fules, 7m for 550$ or a 11m for 650$ both come complete with bar and lines the 11m is almost new and the 7 in used alittle more both in excelent condition!!! Let me know if you want to check them out????
