Sounds like Felix the Helix gets to run free for a bit longer.

Here is Cryril Coste looping Felix's brother on Maui low and hard.

I believe that the first shipment has pretty much sold out. A new shipment will arrive shortly. Get them while you can.

Mark,

I have been following the Helix on the forum and watching them on the water from afar. I can't demo the kites because I trashed my knees a month ago and only out of surgery two weeks. I should be back on the water by Dec. in time for Baja. I have been riding the 07 Boxers, 9m and 12m, riding a 133 SOL. I am pushing 185.

My questions are:
For Baja Sur, Helix or Cult?
9m and 14m or stick to 9m and 12m?

Nik,
Sorry to hear about the knees. Get well soon. I'm sure a trip to warm Mexico will help!

I was riding the 07 Boxers. 7.5,9,12. I think they are great kites. As for the Helix or Cult.... I have only tried the helix. Very boxer like except for faster and much better hang times. I would go with a 9,12 combo. You will be very happy.

When I was in Ventana, I rode a 14 torch the whole time. For me a 14 torch flys like a 9 SLE.

Have fun and Post some pics!
Mark

Thats Felix the Helix.... its a 9m. I am on my naish "fish" surfboard. A fun combo. In fact, I had that combo in the surf yesterday at Manzo. Very fun.
