i don't know. it looks like the weekend and maybe even friday will have easterlies/offshore flow, and the south coast will be too hot with the thermal trough too far north. i don't know the best way to escape both of those?? perhaps S washington coast, but unlikely to be that windy there. it would really suck if the pacific high got too close after being absent for so long.
