| From what I understand the Rev is generation two of the Link. Is this correct? If so - what are the differences between the links and the Revs. Advantages? Disadvantages? And for those that demo'd the Revs yesterday - can you say how the Rev handled compared to the Link? |

| Now that more people have had a chance to check out the Revs I was wondering if someone could make a comparison between the links and the revs? |

| kind of a side question (not trying to hijack your post, terremoto) but I noticed that some links say "missing" right above"Link." Are the "Missing Links" updated from the original "Link?"....or??? |

Just try one. It will answer all of your questions. I'll be out at Rufus all weekend with them. _________________ my brown eye has glaucoma |

Thanks Amery - I definately want to check them out - however, I'm a gimp this weekend. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be able to kite and then I'll have to hunt you down |

hey Terremoto...
If you don't get the chance to fly the Rev this weekend, I can tell you that hands down it is my favorite kite this year!
I try to fly everything that is out there and give an honest opinion. I am currently riding the Turbo diesel 2's which I love for jumping big and wave riding. Tuns of low end power for the coast.
I was a windsurfing test rider for 5 years and learned to notice details and express what I have learned.
This year Slingshot in my opinion has created the kite that everyone wants and is raving about. But don't forget to try the others as well.
The rev, T2 and T3, Octane and fuels are all going to sell very well this year in my opinion.
I have noticed that the Rev's canopy has been tightened up and reshaped for more stability and turning speed. The bridle has been simplified and the contact points have been relocated. The struts are narrow which makes the new Rev super fast.
But yes, the proof is in the pudding, you should ride the kites. And I think more folx should also try the T2's and T3's and give them a fair chance, you might be surprised.
Have fun.....
Live 2 kite/kite 2 live!

| Thanks everyone for their feedback - I even got several PMs expressing opinions and explaining the differences. Totally appreciated and very useful! |
