Was thinking about sauvies last night...but went to the airport for a ultra-lightwind session....17.5 Machine and Glide. Very Happy

-that place could be cool with more wind....or even better wind.

-Its getting close to that time of the year where Sauvies shuts-off, and Rooster turns-ON!

Monday was up and down. Seemed to be enough wind, but we did some walking as the current was not there…

Right now Scappoose temperature is a couple of degrees above PDX and Kelso. If it equals out look for SI to pop off!

Edit PS: Then again the East wind is holding on and could kill it… It’s interesting, the more I try to forecast wind the more conservative my forecasts become. Now I know what George on the iKS guys go through.

Kelso was reading NNW 8mph, now its NW 6mph

I slogged around on a surfboard from about 4:30 to 6. Would have been OK except the current was killing it.

Still fun tho to head over to Krugers for the concert. Great family fun!

Thumb's Up

Really fun! I've never been to one of the Thurs night concerts there and there were more people than I was expecting. Music and sound were great. Kids everywhere. Long lines for beer, shorter lines for some tasty looking food.

Highly recommended....bring a picnic and your own booze (with cups to disguise). There's also hayrides for the kids and they play a movie after.
