Shout Out to all the KB4C Participants, Sponsors, Donors!

What can I say, what an amazing day. Blue skys (some clouds), lots of sun, wind (up and down), kiting for a GREAT CAUSE, music, food, fellow kiters on the water and the list goes on....

Everyone did a fantastic job, whether you finished first or last, kited some of the day or all of the day, the awesome thing is that everyone kited for one reason or another today and it was just so wonderful seeing so many kiters on the water together, beautiful scenery.

An especially loud Shout Out to all the riders who kited the entire 7 hours without breaks. Absolutely unbeliveable that they were out there on the water so long. HipHip Hooray! There were quite a few of you who did this, and it was a pleasure to be on the water with you the whole day, and feel the energy from you all!

Oh, and we cannot forget all the volunteers who worked their little booties off all day! Great Job!

Thanks to Garret and Tonia for starting something that will problaby continue for many years to come! Appreciate all the hardwork you put into the event. Good times.

Thanks also to all the sponsors, phew, lots of great things given away today. I've gotta say, SLINGSHOT always comes though BIG!

:astly, wow to the donors for the silent auction. There was such a wide variety of items in the tent today. Some amazing artwork, a really sweet table, clothes, spa items, vacation accomodations, and the list goes on. Just sweet to have all these people donate for KB4C.

Oh my gosh, almost forgot, Katie and her oh so scrumptious food. Thanks so much Katie for catering the volunteer dinner, that was absolutely delicious! Also, thanks for donating your time to the BBQ today. Go Jetty Island Kite Shop. WoooHooo!

I can't imagine what next year is going to be like.

Thanks for the props everyone! We are so honored to have been a part of KB4C and we'll be the first ones to sign up to flip burgers again next year! Thanks also to Slingshot who helped make the BBQ happen. What an unforgettable day. Definitely got teary-eyed a few times.

Tonia, Garrett and friends-all the hard work you guys have put into the event over the last few months really showed on Saturday. Your determination, enthusiasm, and organization is what made KB4C such a huge success! With the incredible showing we had this year, I can't even imagine what kind of swag and prizes they'll have next year!

Just wanted to thank all the other volunteers who sacrificed their weekend to make this event happen. I met so many that its hard to remember names but Tonia, Garrett, Nicole, Janet, Arla, Jody, Teri, Melissa, Magen, Sonja, and all the boys worked their buns off and deserve MAJOR props!

This event makes me proud to say I'm a kiteboarder!
