I'm putting the finishing touches on a kite skate
and had it sitting on the fixture so I can machine
the fin slots. I was eye-balling the rocker and
subtle bottom contours with a straight edge when
I had an idea... (silly me, I'm always having them.)

I've always been proud of how clean and
smooth my mathematically continuous rocker
and bottom profiles are. This little clip shows
it in an interesting way:

I admit it's a bit boring if you are not into this kind
of stuff. Just need to post cure, add a deck pad,
some fins and go give 'er a spin. I imagine it might
do that pretty well.

P.S. My first time using Google video. Thanks Phillip.
It took my mov file even though I did not see it in
any of the file type lists in the upload dialog. Had
to use all file types.

Sweet.....!

So, why do some wakeboard companies use a 3-stage rocker vs. a continuos rocker?

Will you be around this weekend with the proto?

My rocker is highly curvature continuous which means the curvature changes
very smoothly as you move along the bottom in any direction. It's not to be
confused with the industry term 'continuous rocker' which I believe is a
rocker comprised of a single radius value.

I'd say the board has a mathematically optimized 3 stage rocker where the
center is not quite flat and there is a slight kick under each foot area along
with some other subtleties.

Sorry, but this board will not be available for demo.
