Hey this is a question for anyone who knows!
Is their anywhere in the Gorge to plug in a basic AC plug for some power??
I am trying to get confirmation of any power outlets near the launch @ Stevenson or at the event site?

Aside from knowing the obvious (i should get a generator to play anywhere Very Happy

)

I want to MIX for anyone wanting bangin shiz while they RIP!!!!!

There may be an outlet at the bathrooms by the boat launch in Stevenson that you could run an extension cord from. I'll double check later today when I go down.

would a 12v converter work....plug it into the car and get your mix on.

Yeah, how long would a converter/ inverter last on a car battery?

would that work on a couple batterys? Here a link to several, radio shak would be a good bet too.

I swung by the Stevenson launch last night and checked the new bathroom facilities and the building again - but no power to be found anywhere! I've sent a note to the Port office to see if they can help us out.

I need to get a generator, when I was at Stevenson on Sat one of the guys there had a really nice invertor but not enough juice to run my setup Rolling Eyes

So it looks like a generator is my best option. Now I just need to figure out which one to get Question

I just received the following reply from the Port Manager regarding electrical power in Stevenson:

"Along the pathway, there are a series of pvc electrical conduits (sticking up) for pathway lighting. The plan is to place low lighting (bollard type) in these pvc locations; the end point being by the water stub; and housing the electrical outlet there."

No time frame was given but he said it is on the list of things to do so my guess is that we'll have it by next spring.
