I am sure you are going to get more responses with wind ranges and data, but what I would suggest is that you get atleast one other kite- ie a 7m or a 5m kite if you are planing on being in the gorge. At your weight the 9m is going to be a pretty light wind kite for you. | I would agree with Garrett! I ride my 9m most of the time and I am right around 200lbs. Definetly a light wind kite for you. |

15 to 25 sounds about right
Assuming you are in the BAHAMAS - you would probably want a 12 or 13m light wind kite for the typical mellow trades and maybe a 5m when something big heads your way in the next few weeks. _________________ Go Deep!
