-WHere have you been during the winter months where it blows like a fan?

Costa Rica was awesome I think I would go there agian if I had the chance, not sure how working would be but it's windy, cheap, great food, super nice people
Other places that might be interesting to check out would be Brazil

We stayed at Lake Areal first but it was cold and not the great for kiting but it could of changed by now this was like 3 yrs ago. Playa Copal is a great spot for kiting Nov thru March. Strong winds, bring small kites.
Jeff and Emily had a house there and if you interested they rent rooms or they can help you find a place to stay. Here's their site http://www.kitewindsurf.com/store/your_trip.aspx
If you go pay the extra $ and fly directly to Liberia it will save a days worth of travel.
