Man three days in a row? Wow.....

Hey if someone goes please make note of any power poles with transformers on them. The poles should have an indentifing tag on them.
Maybe we can get a sensor!!!!

Hey Mark. I'm going to be headed out there in a bit. What exactly are you looking for on the utility poles? Julian

looking for a good "windy" pole to mount a wind sensor on. It must have a transformer. The pole should have a id number or marking on it. Probably a metal tag with numbers on it. If not please reference as best you can from our stairs.
Thanks!!
Mark

i saw one with a little white/grey canister up by the wires... probably 1 foot high, and close to the same around.... will that work? if so, it's just north of the staircase...maybe 100 yds.

yeah, i think it would feel both nw and ne winds.

there was a break in the trees by it exposing it a little.... though I didn't look at it close (I saw it from the beach, upwind of the stairs). it's just over the berm close to the end of the parking lot before the gravel road.
