Greetings from snowy Montana, Hein.
Thanks for the elegant solution to installing an adjustable stopper on my Frenzys and Mantas. However, since I don't want to rebuild my c-loop (the factory ones are sewn) I will install a lap link and give that a try tomorrow. These links are easily available at my local Ace.

Actually, for clarification, this is a more accurate way of how the Slingshot Bar & Active Stopper Ball work. The dugout in the bar and the pin in the stopper limit the kink in the rope to a very small amount. There is an imperceptible increase in steering effort when the bar is locked on.
Can't comment on the Best bar, because I haven't used it, but it is shaped differently.

Thanks for the clarification, Amery.
My diagram is a bit exaggerated to
make a point. Most stopper setups
probably don't increase steering effort
that much. Some more than others.
I read somewhere that Slingshot is
coming up with a Len10 Pro Loop & Bar.
Is that true? Can you tell us more?

I've had some sessions on my 7m with the minibar equipped
with the Ball & Ring stopper.
You can push through it but it stays put while riding
against it and unspinning. works great!
I still prefer the pulley bar but it is nice to unhook,
choke the chicken and go left. (when the wind is blowing
you right) And saving from a stall while going down
the line in light winds will be easier.

Ha, nice dig.
I came up with that in a weak moment when I thought I was missing out
on de-power. I made up some bars and rode with them some down in TX.
Then I got some Reactors and was over it. Pulley Bar Forever.
I still have an older Slingy 5 line bar set up with the dual cleat and the
whole bit. I used it to fly/setup a 7m Airush Vapor in my field the other
day. Worked great.
I've posted stuff that I prototyped to see what the reaction would
be and give NSI a feel for if people wanted it. Apparently there is not
much call for a clean below the bar loop & sheeting system that
promotes unhooked riding. Go figure.
