heya,
just got back from avon, nc. chased out by o-phuc-ya, mandatory evac on tuesday, the local crew at real kiteboarding were laughing their asses off, only one day of high winds on thursday, then butter smooth sw out on the slick, all the tourists were history.
seriously, hatteras is epic. check out continental's fares into norfork, va: 250 bucks gets you coast to coast to coast, avon is about 2 hours south by rental car. pimlico sound is kb heaven. hte guys at real kiteboarding all ride daily, are all into the riding without any of the 'tude. great place to ride.
