was out on the 7 until it got too light, so pumped up the 11, then the wind blew like crazy, the wind waves grew to 4 or 5 feet and did a bit more than just white-capping, there were full on breaking waves out in the channel. Didn't want to go back and pump up the 7 again so the 11m sure got me some lofty jumps in those conditions (my first 20 ft jump? almost landed it too!). Also, brought the old LF proof 151 out of retirement for a try, man that board is not meant for that kind of weather. Good beginner board, but not meant for anything more than that, maybe light wind. Could not hold an edge well, had a really hard time gaining a lot of upwind ground compared to the recoil board. Needless to say I'm wondering what to do with it... (the paint job sure made it easier to spot though...)
