Yeah, on the NW days the water chills right down....but yesterday in the SW I was sweating in my 3/2! You could go with a shorty or even trunk it, but as soon as you drop your kite in the rip, you realize quick that a good full suit is always required...

Ok, I am a little confused. I haven't kited at Fort Stevens before, but if the wind was from the SW, how is it that you're going down the line to the South? In the pics, it looks like you're riding a NW wind. Confused

There were some Southerlies sprinkled around early in the month... I think JW was camping and around. He may have been making a general statement but the pics were from a NW day.
