And hit the coast.

Drove from Del Mar to Iredale at noon and no kiters - found T at the Jetty - in three hours we counted 2 Canadian kiters at the Jetty, 3 Kites at Iredale, and 3 at Sunset. Thats one kite per mile.

Nice overhead waves - lit on the 7m and surfboard at the Jetty, nicely powered at Iredale, sucking it at Sunset.

Had some Ben Wilson moments... the surfing ones not the peeing on himself.

I like the top of lot B.
Nice warm out of the
wind spot to setup
and hang in between
sessions.

Then a short charge out
over the dune and into
the fun zone!

Easier than the jetty
bolder climb/sticker
walk. And the wind below
the jetty is fluky anyways.

And I like going all the
way to sunset if the
wind holds.

I'm not much into bouncing
back up the beach in
the back of a pick-up.

Although I'll take what
ever I can get.

the locals also recommended Lot B - I like the little nature walk and gusty launch at the Jetty (gets the adrenaline pumping) - hate to miss an extra mile of great waves.

Weekend looks good.

Looks like it would be a great week-end for camping out and riding at the coast. Any good spots for a chance at a last minute camping spot?

camping at Floras Lake was the shiznit this past weekend. There was even an open tent campsite or two on both Friday and Saturday nights.
