I went to the spit during the spike day. I saw Hein heading out in perfect 20's. I was excited to get out on my 11meter.

Got rigged, pumped and lined up. The wind was building really fast. I knew it was blowing in excess of 25 maybe 30 becuase the sand was pelting my face.

***I asked myself, "Do I want to go out on an 11 Turbo II and test the limits of my ability?"..........Considered it then saw Bison powered up on a 9 meter.

I bagged it and went to the car. I was supposed to be somewhere at 6pm.

Lesson to newbies, "Know when to say No!"

If you are not absolutly sure of the conditions, or the wind is gusty and rapidly changing and you have a Big Kite. Use your head and bag it!

Very Happy
