It sucks dont go there... there is no swell and no flat water, its all choppy and there is a ton of shit in the water.. NO FUN, and i also herd that there were killer Piranhas in the water around those parts.

I'm rolling in with a bus load of 50 kiteboarding kids and we're all upwinding to Wells Island this weekend and we'll be there from dusk to dawn throwing down handle passes and kite-loops in a tight rotation. Thanks for the tip!

the army corp of enginerds released an article in the scientific weekly this week regarding the downstream debris collection opportunity of wells island. this being a direct result of the rising flood plains of the sand bar whisking away a large sum of burnt mtn hood national forest fir. and not the hippy kind. they are all due to commense deportation in the west general region of WI. stay clear!

actually.....do be wary of the large tree that does sit slightly submerged half way in the pond. i didn't see it until i was above it coming down. it's about 20 feet long and 2.5 feet in diameter.

hahahahahahahahaha, calling her out Laughing Laughing

i can't believe people are worried about wells getting crowded, the n00bs will never make it that far until they can actually ride decent. but i guess i dont care that much about wells anymore since i ride in the flat water pool by the sandbar Cool

Actually, I think I'd be a bit more scared of Holly's riding more than the piranha fish.

I don't think there is anyone out there who I've heard more yardsale stories from more than Holly. She's definitely one of the new kiters out there hucking herself without any fear.

holly you had better get those raleys to blind dialed before the piranahs chomp your goofy ass, you only got lucky and avoided them caus they were goen after the student getting a lesson on how to tomahawk a kite into the water...

there is another stump downwind about 20 yards of the big visible one, defenately capable of skewering a kiter, way harder to see and just under the surface. dont hit it.

After hearing all your stories from last year, we were starting to think that "yardsale" would have been more appropriate than "safe".
But, with all of your dues paying on the water, I'm sure your skills are starting to push way past mine.
