statistically you are more likely that a quad will fall off a trailer and land in you lap than you will even see a shark ever while kiting. Do you not have a car?? we kite alone when we have to. its zen like and lonely.

crescent city + north wind = offshore kiting

its something about being past the waves, past the surfers, about a 1/4 mile out struggling to keep the kite in the air. Then swimming back to shore with a kite in one hand, board in the other. Thrashing around like a wounded animal thats dosent belong out in the water.

ever go shark fishing? the best place is just behind the waves, where the sand ends and the rocks begin. right at about 100-200ft.deep. The fish will gather to eat the lil shrimp'ys and other things that the waves bring out. which brings bigger fish, seals, and eventually...sharks.

if you see a shark, be sure to yell, slap the water with your hands, piss your pants. Rolling Eyes

-lemme know how that turns out.
