i'm not really familiar with shutterfly, but people have sent me links from it before. when I go to the link you posted, I don't have anyway to get to the pics. Perhaps someone on the forum can help out?

Does anyone have a count on the volenteers?

I think at least 100, but some co-workers balked at me, didn't believe we could rally that many people.

Any other guesses or counts?

shredbarbie, thanks for the great work on the pics. absolutely an amazing turnout. very sweet bonfire.

did anyone get pics of cory pulling out the big logs out of the water with his old pickup? frickin insane!! that old truck rocks! couldnt believe the torque.

thanks shredjim and magicmaker for the hard work organizing.


ps: are the logs still burning?

Check cam on www.gorge.net, click Gorge Live.

I think Mel and Carlos and Spring, Jim and a few other folks went down early Sunday and continued to saw up logs and put them in the fire all morning. They kicked butt. When I went down at noon, most of the piles were pretty burned up, all but one of the big ones on the outer west portion of the bar, which was very wet wood. The water level may have come up over that now already.
