Hey everyone,
It was good to meet some of you at the sauvies demo last week.
Since I'm new to all this, I need one last bit of advice form those who go to sauvies often.
Will I last through the summer with an 11m bow kite at sauvies? or will I need a 14m? I weigh 155lb and am getting the Liquid Force 151 board. I dont need advice on type or brand of kite, just simply size.

If you are efficient enough you can ride a lightwind board like a Glide and an 11m when its real light. We've been lucky to get real strong winds at Sauvies so far this year, 9m wind on probably 4 days... but that's very unusual normally.

I'm ~145lbs and don't use (or have) anything bigger than my Fuel 13 at Sauvies with a normal, 128, twin tip. And for the past 2 years I got away with my '05 Fuel 11, getting to ride most of the time everyone else was out. Soooo, I'd really think you'd be okay with the 11m bow, unless you're one that wants to ride no matter how light the wind... Very Happy

I'm pushing the upper 190's. I love my jimmy lewis 133 so much I opted for the bigger kite..16m crossbow.

13m fuel and 145lbs... You could make do but I would definately pick up a cheap lightwind board or a skim board. You want to have every tool possible to avoid the Sauvie skunk, because the skunk seems to happen allot!!
