What an awesome effort. It would seem we are going to have some nice flat water to kite when the water level comes up-- Here are a few pictures-- and thanks to the guys who pulled me out--twice Very Happy

Did all the wood get burned? I would think the fires would need tending in order to burn all the wood in a timely fashion. That of course is easier said than done. Man some of those log rounds where huge.

My only fear is that not all the piles get burned up. If they do not and the h20 levels go up again. . . we will be in a better position than before, but probably will get more wood debris around the bar. Hopefully the current will send any leftovers from the burn down the river.

Thx to all for their respective efforts. . . good seeing everyone out yesterday. . .

Very Happy

There are still people out tending the fires and consolidating, any help would be appreciated.

Things have reduced a lot.

It was a fun day - I'm glad a I got a chance to meet a lot of the other kiters on this forum - good to put a face to a screen name. By the way - i was the guy in the yellow sweatshirt.

I think Trevor is upset because he wasn't driving one of those big trucks through the sand-- or he was contemplating kiting over one of the flaming piles Smile

Went up today- piles still burning-
