to all of the hard working people who helped out on the sandbar yesterday! We accomplished what we set out to do and made our sandbar a better place for all. Its amazing how much work can get done by a bunch of motivated kiteboarders!

Many thanks to the officers of the CGKA for the time and effort spent organizing the cleanup. Without your leadership and perseverance we'd still have a dangerous sandbar. Almost certainly someone would have been hurt or killed this Summer.
My personal thanks to Magicmaker for making it possible for me to contribute to the effort in a small way, even though I'm out of the country. My apologies that I couldn't do as much as everyone who was there.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who helped on Saturday. Every time I enjoy a session at the sandbar, I'll remember that I owe you a debt. (And yes, I'll bring beers!  )
And Dammit! Sounds like I missed a great party!!!

| The turnout was awesome, simply amazing. I'd imagine the party will go down in gorge lore as one of the best ever, Too much fun. |
