Hey all you accountants and computer wizards out there.
I have come to realize that many of the people who read this forum have a lot of job skills and because we love to kite may be driving to Portland to work and be able to live in the Gorge or wish they could move into the Gorge but can't find a good job.
If you have have great computer skills and an accounting background, this job may be for you. Benefits include a flexible boss who won't answer her phone in the afternoon because she is kiting so if the employee has questions, they had better come out on the water to ask. We also have an employee "wind clause" that says if work is done and it is blowing, leaving work to go kiting is acceptable especially in the summer. And yes, we having the boring beni's too.
My company is looking for a 3/4 - full time person with great computer skills who can do our accounting and office functions. (permanent position in Stevenson). Quickbooks and MS Office skills needed. (Will train in QBooks if you are a kick-ass computer guru who learns programs very fast.)
