Nak, I have not come across a review of the 11M UFO v2, so figured I'd ask you since you have 10 sessions on it. How does it fly?

I have a 5 and 7 UFO V1.1 which I love. However, in 10-14 mph winds I fly my 12M Ghost V1. It's a great kite, it's just big in the bag. I have grown addicted to the sexy small UFOs and their Hello Kitty sized backbacks.... and I love flying them.

I know I should be able to foil in 10-12 on my 7M UFO... but I can't do it reliably enough. When I'm out in deep water doing those water starts I get nervous if I haven't managed to get on the foil after 5 tries... then I end up foiling conservatively. Not an issue with my 12M Ghost.

@185 lbs... wondering if the 11M would be a good call. (FWIW, I already tried getting a 9M but found it did not have a noticeably greater low end then my 7M.)

Thanks to @Nak or anyone else with 11M UFO experience. Thumb's Up

I love the 11m UFO; I was not a fan of the UFO V1.1 9m. The 11m is my favorite light wind kite I've ever flown. I'm not saying it will get you out sooner, or even as soon as, a 21m ram air kite. Once flying though, it's more fun to fly compared to other big kites in the 12m range.

Here's my first ride on a 11m UFO. The wind on the beach was 4 - 6 mph, measured just before this video. It was probably a bit more at 23m... Still, look at the flags & the gauzy cabana curtains. I had to have a jet ski bring my board out through the shore break, as there is no way you're going to foil out through the shallow sand bars here with wind that is nearly dead on shore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woAb5jA2_ok

Lowered price on the 5m. $700. No repairs needed or done on this kite, it's in perfect condition!! The 5m is the most often needed kite size in the gorge for foiling. It's sweet spot is from 16 mph to 22 mph, and usable for sure beyond those speeds.

The 3m Has like three sessions on it, it is incredible in the swell from 25 mph on up. It's so fun because it's so easy to toss around. Get on the swell, toss it up to let it drift with you with zero power, and when you run out of wave you can instantly power it up! So much fun!

Weird that the best sizes are still available. I know they make nice light wind kites, but strutless are near magic in the smaller sizes.
