Bore tides happen everyday - some large and some small - depends on the tidal difference between high and low.

You can get a general idea of the bore dates and sizes here:

Once the ice clears in March you can kite or sub the bore. In order for it to be kitable there has to be a good west wind.

March into October is the kite season in Turnagain - it's full of ice the rest of the time.
