CGKA Meeting Report

Thanks to everybody that showed up to share their thoughts about kiting in the gorge and what we can do to improve things.

Here are the take home points from the meeting last Saturday:

--The CGKA is striving to improve the flow of communication between the BOD and the kiting community

--The organization has been proactive in dealing with the sandbar issues (well done Cory and Jim!!)

--We are working towards expanding the focus of the CGKA to issues throughout the gorge

--A sandbar clean-up is planned for the spring but we are waiting for mother nature to take care of her part with a big spring run-off

--A summer racing series is in the works

--Another meeting will be scheduled towards the end of the month, and notifications will go out via email and the forum with plenty of time to plan

--We plan on making some changes on the BOD in order to insure that we have the necessary people, time, and energy to make things happen.
