There is no other swap meet for August, unfortunately. Sooooo....
Swap meet this Sunday in Mosier, from 7-11am!

7-8am arrival and setup. NO early birds, please.
$10/car to sell, free to buy.
VOLUNTEERS get in to sell for free!

Buyers must park to the east, outside the swap area.
All proceeds will go to the Mosier Fire Volunteers general fund.
Entry gets you qualified for one of two door prizes!
Bring whatever you have to sell or trade. Kites, windsurf, foil, wing, ski, kayak, bike, hike, ETC.

The CGW2 is encouraged to bring its trailer of windsurf goodies; I know people who need gear! And they need it before Labor Day, which is apparently the last and only other swap meet this year. Donations for local Gorge windsurf youth are welcome. Junk will be refused at the swap director's discretion.

Volunteers very appreciated; 3 man-hours of parking attendance between 7am and 9am is what is needed. So, three people at only one hour each would be enough. Please contact the number below.

Location: Exit 69 off I-84. Look for signage and parking attendants. Due to potential congestion, do NOT enter the lot at the west end. Enter the city parking/swap area by proceeding east on Hwy 30 through town and then turning NORTH toward the railroad at Main Street (LEFT turn, if you are coming from Hood River). Go LEFT again on the gravel and park on the shady south side of the road, behind the Mosier Fruit Growers building. We will park everybody on the shady south side of the gravel road, until the space fills.

There are plenty of porta potties nearby. Water is by the totem pole. Also, coffee is close by at Randonee.

💩Please drive slowly with care. No smoking, due to fire hazard. There will be a fire extinguisher available. Control your dogs. Pack out all trash. This includes poo.

Mosier Fest begins at noon. You are welcome to remain parked in the shade for this fun event.

Call the number below with any questions OR to volunteer for an hour.

Even with the short planning window, it appears there is a ton of interest. This is encouraging!

Remember: no early birds, please. And ender the $10/seller parking area at Hwy 30 and Main in Mosier. Watch for parking attendants in orange. Sellers park on the far west end, buyers park on the east end. There will be a gear raffle of at least two items, and all sellers are entered automatically. Non-sellers may also buy raffle tix ($5). Drawing at 10!
All proceeds are dedicated to the Mosier Fire Volunteers general fund.

Any questions or to volunteer, call here:

Hope to see you there! Mosier Fest resurrects after a covid-coma and follows the swap; you may remain parked where you are. Very Happy

Thanks to all who participated in the Mosier Fest Swap Meet. Although it was nowhere near as huge as a typical Hood River Swap, it was also nowhere near a bust. Several sales and acquisitions were made, and I believe there was a higher than average percentage of serious buyers. A couple hundred dollars were raised for the Mosier Volunteer Fire Department. And I believe it was the most beautiful swap ever, due to the location and parking arrangement. Not too shabby with only 4 days of promotion in advance!

I will make a presentation to the Mosier City council and encourage them to strongly consider including this as an annual event. Thank you also to the volunteers who participated. I could not have done this as safely and well without you.
