How is the launch at Rooster rock this time of year? I'm thinking of heading there, but I've only wsurfed there this time of year. I can't remember if there is enough beach for kite rig/launch. It seems like there should be tons, but another post expressed concern.

I think it can change daily and it sounds like it's high these days.

Wind crankin out there again now today. Could be some sweetness as it winds down this arvo.

I will say this...

Chest-to-neck deep water all the way to the dunes...only to find no beach/rigging area. And the little cleared-out area you do find will go from ankle-deep to neck-deep in 3ft. or stay high and walk way around, through the V.S. forest of deception. Confused

so, maybe an ultra-long hike all the way east/around the bay to the North side of the dune, then you would have a nice sandy beach all to yourself. Smile

Not sure what to do today...but I want to get out around 3ish.

Good stuff you guys. Thanks again Forrest and Yohan for the launch support. That high water is a bee-ah-itch!

Nice wind out in the channel tho, and warm!

Cool

Good times, I guess we proved that RR is do-able on a high water level. It wasn't the launch that was hard, it was definitely landing.

I have a little bit of a sun burn. Smile Ah, come on summer!
