Kiteboarding in Mazatlan?

Has anyone ever kiteboard in Mazatlan Mexico? Looking at going down there next spring probably first week of April. Wondering about conditions.

Teach a man to fish (aka kiter to use the search function), he'll eat forever (aka they can access info on their own and can answer their own questions).

I believe it is a light wind spot, so bring a big kite and or a foil.

The bull fights and tequila were a good cultural activity when I went decades ago, if the winds doesn't blow.
