OT: repair separating heel on snowboard boot?

Would recommend to not use ShoeGoo and definitely not epoxy.

I regularly repair snowboard boots, xc boots and tele boots with this product.

Clean with alcohol
Rough up the surface with 100grit sandpaper
Clean up again.
Coat a layer of glue on sole and boot.
Hold open to let dry for 5-10min until the glue is tacky (like an adhesive sticker)
Press sole onto boot firmly and then secure the sole in place by wrapping tape around the entire boot (packing tape is my preference).
